So I'm new to Audi's and haven't had any experience with turbos or anything and I'm looking to get some extra horse power with my stock engine. What I'm wondering is, is it possible to push more boost on my stock turbo or would that be bad for the engine?

Also if I couldn't push more boost could I just buy a bigger turbo and just replace the old stock turbo? Or would this require me to buy new parts and If it does what would I have to buy?

 

you can get more boost out of the stock turbo...you need a chip though (stage 1 from APR,for example). these will push it up a little bit and you wont have to upgrade any other engine parts.

you can also buy a bigger turbo...a k04 will bolt right up to these as far as i know

 

you can get tuning that will give my more power, since you are a b6, you can also reprogram for upgraded injectors

you could upgrade the turbo and get crazy power, but you would want to do tuning and other mods with it


read the sticky at the top of the b6 forum and it can tell you everything
