yeah i would really like to know some times for one of these too.

Did you do anything else to your engine to handle the extra power or was it fine? If i was to get it do the 2.8ls have forged pistons or should i get new ones. I just dont feel like having my engine blow on me.

 

what amount of miles on your engine is to many if you throw in a super charger

 

I don't know the times, but people have said that it'll put you up around 300hp or so, which is enough to take out a stock S4 (maybe one with intake or exhaust too - if the S4 is chipped though, blower or not, you're dead).

As for issues, I've read about problems when people switch from the drive pulley that comes with the kit, over to the 2.9" higher-boost pulley. Apparently this mod requires beefing up the engine. Keep the pulley that comes with the kit, and you're good to go.

What is it making for power?

 

i have the PES kit on my 98 A4 and its honestly wonderful. PES just did so much test and tune to make this kit pull as much power as possible, keeping reliability in mind. when i first got the car it had about 85K when the charger was installed. the car now has 110k and havent had one issue. I have heard that if you upgrade to the different size pulley that you need to be prepared with some mechanical engine upgrades, i opted out of doing it because it changes the air/fuel etc, which has already been modified by PES. Speed wise, my GF's roommates boyfriend has a wrx and it had no problems pulling away from that. if i had to ballpark numbers, i would say PES is accurate, 300hp and 270-275 of torque. i am new to this forum but im glad i found it, cause it seems pretty lively, so if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask, later!

 

I got 2 audis a4 98 quattro 2.8. one with supercharger pes G2 and one stock. you can deffenitly tell 100% a diffrence. the supercharger pulls ***. i have nitrous wet hooked up with the supercharger. but i dont think ill be useing. you never know tho. VERY BAD .i just need a new line from the tank
