hey i have a 2002 A4 1.8t and i was wondering if there are any cheap or easy ways to make the sound of my turbo alittle louder. thanks

 

get an intake and a new DV if the sound is all you want thats all an intake is good for

The turbo engiens can only make loud noise on the intake, becouse the turbine acts like a mufler.

 

Just get an induction kit, if you want to here the 'turbo sound'.

To see how it may sound, try taking off the airbox cover and remove the filter, then rev your engine up, and you will hear the 'induction roar', obviously dont drive it like this!

 

dude, chage air filter for a kon filter.
bigger would be louder. put also an adapter to go bigger filter, it will act as an amp.

 

go to the A4 forum.....read the airbox mod at the top and PM me when you need a piece of screen....im selling them for $1...

i think maybe i am going to take my stock intake box off tommorow and see whats going on down there.. i might get some screens from you.. how many did you find out was the best to use?
