Default need some advice on k03s

Hi am new to all this forum stuff etc but was wondering if someone could just help me clarify something for me, looking to put k03s in my 1999 a3 1.8t sport so been looking on ebay and there is couple second hand ones for about 160ish but have ads offering brand new k03s from usa for about 240 but here in Britain to get a new one there coming in about 600! So not sure what to get, this is the link from ebay

98-05 VW JETTA Golf 1.8T K03s Turbo Turbocharger New | eBay

would that fit my a3?

thanks marc

It's import cost and taxes. Unless you can accurately calculate all that and find it substantially cheaper than buying locally... That might be your only option, taxes, tariffs.

I made the mistake on going cheapo and buying awesome $300 hid for only $90. Buy the time it got here cost me $400 :s

If you are finding new K03S for $240 most likely it is a china copy. No way your going to find a brand new BW for that cheap. This is why no where on their web site does it say ity is a Borg Warner K03S. There are some companies out there selling BW turbos for really low prices that say it is a new turbo, but turns out they are selling refurbished BW's.
