01 A6 4.2 tranny died or is giving limp mode issues,after a couple of thumps from the TQconv while slowing to a stop.Not mad at all,secretly hoped this would happen so ican do the 6speed swap.Im looking for any shop that has done this before in the CT,MA,NY area as the car will need transporting there . I got my swap done by TYROLSPORT in NY great knowledgeable experience shop that was reffered to me by AUDIS4PART where the swap kit was purchased.The car drives as though it could have been this way from the factory no vibration noise or harshness.Just getting use to the tight gear spacing with the 6speed shifter..
