Hello,

I need to get an rs4 clutch installed on my S4. I was wondering if anyone knew a shop that does clutch installs at a reasonable price. I am in the philly area (Manayunk to be exact).

So far I have been quoted at

1380 (NJ Dealership)
1520 (Willow Grove Dearlership)
1300 (Cottman transmission)

*These numbers are for labor only.

Sorry to say but I don't know of any places that will do it cheaper than that, but good luck with getting it done. I would have no problem doing it if you were closer.

 

theres a guy by me, his name is john crosson, (sp) he specializes in vw and audi, when i was looking at cars i found one in philly actually in Manayunk but the clutch was toast and i called him, he quoted me at $1000 parts an labor you should be able to yellow page him i think the town hes in is called refton not sure if it has its own zip or not...probably an hour hour and a half from you

 

hhmmm getting my car towed out there might get costly and prolly eat up the cost saved on the clutch. My AAA will only cover up to 100 miles which I have used up a good chunk...either way I will look into it.

Have your car towed 100 miles and than call them back and have it towed another 100 miles.

 

Did you get it installed yet?

 

haha no I can have it towed a total of a 100 miles...anyways its in the shop right now..
