IMHO...

Mercedez: A girl that drives a car that doesnt know anything about cars and is high maintenance.

BMW: A girl that feels a little sporty and likes to play tennis.. and most likely had either a boyfriend or dad tell them it was a good car and talk them into getting it

Audi: A girl that cares what they drive.. usually sophisticated and down to earth, higher education smarter..

GUYS
Mercedez: A guy that only knows that mercedez equals money and wants to flaunt what he has.

BMW: A guy that wants to seem like he has a little money, and saw a eurotuner magazine and thinks that BMW's are super sporty and havent been introduced to Audi's yet

Audi: A guy that cares about his car, cares about driving characteristics, cares about class, cares about performance, and doesnt really care about flaunting money, or pretending to be something he is not..

I also believe that Audi's get more looks.. and you could pick up girls easier in an Audi than a BMW, or Mercedez

That has to be the most biased, stereotypical and baseless statement I have ever seen. So everyone is bad except Audi drivers, and in coming up w/ this analysis, you didn't once consider that perhaps your rationale was flawed and biased?

I honestly think a lot of girls just buy cars if they think they're cute and the color of it matches their shoes. Because females tend to drive more docile and controlled than males, the driving dynamics and car itself doesn't matter as much to them as the image, the COLOR, the interior, and how many friends they can haul around in it.

This isn't true for all girls, but that's my perception.

All of my gfs (exes) who know nothing about cars will call me and tell me, "I SAW THIS AWESOME CAR!" "What kind was it?" "I don't know, but it matched my shoes!"

I have seen one girl at my school driving a b5 and she seemed very responsible, conservative, but she did have her hair dyed, so maybe she is wild on the inside. That tends to be Audi's philosophy as well: Conservative, but a bit wild on the inside.

thanks :P

In case you dint notice, when you joined, mere hours ago, apparently JUST to post that comment and bounce, this IS an Audi Forum. In my rare visits to lurk on BMW & Merc forums, they aren't exactly singing the virtues of Quattro. We don't begrudge THEM their DELUSIONS, so don't come 'round here Hatin' on OURS, OK?

QUATTRO ROXORs, ABOVE ALL OTHERS!!!! BAR NONE!!!

First of all, Mrs. Presumptuous, I don't own a BMW.

Second of all, you openly admit that it's an illusion yet you still defend it?

Third of all, if you've ever been to a Mercedes or BMW forum, you'd know that many of the members talk highly of Audis and respect them. In fact, they almost see some form of brotherhood w/ Audis.

Too bad you feel like you need to rival them.

Fourth of all, I have lurked for a while but never registered. I registered to do a search for something, hence the bumping of the 1.5 year old topic.

Now go play in the corner.

PM sent, but, FTR, I have owned and wrenched on BMW's (plurl), a Merc, an Opel, and either owned or wrenched on many other European marques, I'm not going to bother to list.

Be careful who you pick on, not everyone (you included, apparently) has a sense of humor. IF you've lurked you'd know that, AND me.
