Well....BMW girls are for the most part "normal." BMW is not a fancy (performance) car...not a Porsche..but like a Ford. I have a 2003 330 xi and 2005 A4....both are fun to drive......Audi is more understated but much more fun to drive!!!!!!!

I grew up driving BMW, Alfa and Porsche...... My father had a heart attack when I bought my Audi earlier this year. (he doesn't like Audi----still thinks they make things for Hitler (he's a WWII vet)....

Although I admit i don't like the attention I get in either car.

this is my PRECEPTION; not necessarly indicative of their personality
(these include women under 40)

mercedes: pretencious woman that wants to be a poster child for $$$. won't speak if you try to holla.......period.

bmw: a bit more down-to-earth than the merc owners; have more of a 'sporty' attitude. will wave at you through a rolled up window, maybe a wink or a bottom-lip-bite if you try to holla.

audi: much more approachable; understands who she is and what kind of car she drives in relation to the rest of the world. will want to race you then discuss polotics over a cup of joe.......if you try to holla

but that's just my preception......

"holla?"

"holla" is a term used to denote something like "hitting on a girl"...but you're not exactly hitting on her by having a conversation with her...just kind of calling her out that you notice her sorta thing and that you (the guy) are interested or likes what he sees...

THANX for clearing that up for me mommasaid.
sorry evil...it's common slang were i come from.

I've heard it used and had a rough idea as to what it was... but it was never clearly defined.

So it's basically a pre-pubescent teenager yelling obsentities at a girl from a speeding car because he is afraid of rejection, thus, not having the ***** to talk in person?

Just ******'.... or am I?

nope! afraid you guys STILL have not grasped the concept: it is just an 'expression' that could include lots of different meeting senerios.

Not that it's NOT what you said. It can be that, too. It all depends on the situation, the setting, and the personaity of the person using it. It can mean:
Call me back when you get a chance.
Hello.
Goodbye.
You're cute.
An announcment that you're leaving the vicinity/room/scene/what-have-you.
I think I'm cute and y'all need to recognize...
Just about any-DAMN-thing else you can concieve of for yelling out a one-word phrase in abstentia of a well-worded sentence, or two...

Holla, if ya feel me!

yeah, i agree that 'holla' can fall under a VERY broad spectrum of events ( i think that i've seen them all!). i just didn't want anyone to think that it was negative, childlike behavior - simply an expression.
