audi reliability?
As with all cars, its a mixed batch.
Some people will bitch Euro cars are more exspensive to repair and unrealiable. Some people do the same for American cars and Asian cars....
My A4 has never broken down on me... I have never had a huge problem. Even my last car, a 1993 VW PASSAT VR6, didnt die on me. I beat the ever living **** out of that thing. I drove it hard in 115 degree weather while the engine was 250 degrees... never once sputtered and died. I could see other cars blowing up with the way I drove that Euro.
To your answer, yes and no... buying a car is always a gamble. Just make sure you know what your looking for.

What are the noticable problems that happen with a4's that should be taken in consideration for future repair?

Seeing that you have posted in other forums... its mostly what you have been hearing. If you get a B5, the timing belt needs to be changed, blah blah blah. You've heard it before. Dont know about the B6 or 7.
Aside from that, there has been nothing major with my A4. Small thing happen every now and then but its from wear and tear... not because its from Europe.
It's funny... most of the people that make these false claims have never owned a European car. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.
