I'm putting a CAI on my step bro's 98 jetta VR6 I know what im doing but i wanted to know if there was a DIY for it that i could check with if i have any probelms?

ya i know not an Audi thing..

You shouldn't have any problems, but if you hit a snag, shoot me a PM. I've done one on a '98 GTI VR6.
