Just to close this off, she loves the Fire. It's a pretty sweet little machine, and it's unbeatable at the $199 price. It's got a ton of features and capabilities and she hasn't even scratched the surface of what it can do. We both recommend it.

Now I wanna check out the Fire my self. It'll be a nice change from the iPad.
