actually it was packed pretty full with popcorn..it looks like UPS tried to smash it into an area too small for the package [:@]

That's cool. I'm glad the cops don't make a big deal out of it. They know if they are chasing you which plate they will be looking at.
exactly..i don't understand why a front plate is even required, it really doesn't serve any purpose...cops have told me its for cameras at intersections and toll bridges, but they could take a shot of the rear plate just as easily..oh well, that's the law i guess

Some states, like Michigan, did away with front plates long ago... There hasn't been a fromt plate requirement in MI since BEFORE I joined teh Army, 21 years ago... MI did it as a cost cutting measure. Maybe the rest of teh states will follow. They cud use teh left over loot to pay for more traffic cameras[:@]

I used to have front plates when I lived in Oregon, but it is crazy cheap to register a car there. Plates are good for 2yrs and it cost like $36 or something. Plus no sales tax when you buy your car. They will probably change that soon enough.
