Mouse Scroll wheel being ghey. im all outta ideas.

Mouse Scroll wheel being ghey. im all outta ideas.
My scroll wheel for my logitech optical mouse is not working. I uninstalled the hardware from the system, pluged it back in and nothing. buttons work, the wheel scrolls when you press it (fast like) but nothing when i spin it. I installed drivers/software from logitech and nothing is happening. I went into the system registry to look for this:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Se rvices\I8042PRT\Parameters\EnableWheelDetection
was not there. nor was this DWord Value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\A CPI\PNP0F13\DEVICE GUID\Device Parameters\EnableWheelDetection

any ideas?? [:@]

Get some compressed air, blow it out. The sensors may be dirty.

buy the same kinda mouse, put ur old one in the package and return it, u got urself a free new mouse
