Me'n my sister (remember her? The twin) hadda share Mom's discarded Olds Cutlass (T-Tops, VELOUR bucket seats, floor-shifter {still an auto, but it LOOKED qewl}up until sis got blind-sided by a yokel in an f-150, our senior year. GLAD I decided to walk that day[&:] Mom was PI55ED!!!

 

When I was 16, I had to walk 5 miles to school, in the snow, uphill, both ways.

Erikas3, just stay on your parents' plan & def. take advantage of the good student discount & don't get any tickets. Most insurance companies will let you stay on your parents' policy until you're 21. I know AAA did.

I didint wanna read all that crappola thread sooo ima lay mine on the line.....
I drive a 6 speed silver 02 S4.
I am now.... 19 and my premium just dropped to 2800 cause of the 3 years of driving. But since i have had the S4 my insurance has been $4200 a year.... sooo yea dont get an S4 untill you have 3 clean years of driving or deep pockets lol.... I cant imagine a 99 a4 to bee much more expensive insurance wise then anyother decent car you would buy and have insured.

 

I love seeing other youngins on here. I just turned 20 and sold my 96 Accord [my first car, turboed and auto [sm=boohoo.gif]] for a 99 1.8TQ STICK and LOVE it!!!! My insurance only raised $20 a month so its still affordable.
