Went to AmsterJam on Saturday...

Chili Peppers, Snoop Dog, 311, Wyclef Jean, Garbage, Fat Joe......

Good show...Wyclef is really talanted...and the Peppers were fantastic.

Anyone heard of Peaches? At the end of Garbages' set they bring out Peaches...who I have to say looked like a guy in drag or a transexual. Who the hell is Peaches? Anyway that was one of the worst collaborations I'd ever seen. Ruined what had been up to that point a good Garbage set.

maybe it had something to do with Jest's post warning about PW'ing. i noticed it too, and was deeply saddened. coming to the off topic area was usually the happy ending to my sh!tty days.

So class started for me yesterday, today I had class from 12 to 3.... it was a beautiful day, but everyone seemed to drive to class today, so i had to park about 6 blocks away from the building my last class was in (yah i know, not very far, but in extreme heat it seems much further)

so i get out of my last class, and it starts to monsoon/downpour, and of course i don't have my umbrella with me, and a light colored shirt

i wait inside the building for like 30 minutes for it to at least slow down, i had sandals on and couldn't really run for it cuz i'd slip..... most of the sidewalk is cobblestone and all over the place cuz charleston is such an old city

so after about 40 minutes it lets up a little, so i decide to go for it, i had to get home to take my dog out....as soon as i get a block away from the building, it downpours again.... i looked and felt like crap

but then, all the roads flooded because of how much rain we got, all the traffic lights downtown were out, and it took me another hour to get out of downtown, then 45 more minutes to get home (usually all together a 25 minute process)

THE FUNNY PART THOUGH...... all these guys in little lowered honda's and toyota's tried to drive down the flooded streets (in some places it was almost up to people's knees) and they all broke down in the middle of intersections and such, and then they were all out looking at their cars as if they had NO IDEA how the situation occurred, lol..... it made me laugh a bit after a horrible afternoon

and i had to drive home with the seat warmers on and heat on, even though it was like 98 degrees outside, i was so cold and wet
