A couple months ago my dad parker his Rnage Rover some where were workers were painting something and there now is some white paint spekes on his car. I want to help him remove them any ideas? I thought i would try Clay Magic and if that doesnt work my buff with some cleaner wax.

 

The Clay Magic that you will find locally isn't an aggressive enough clay to remove it. A medium grade Clay Magic, Pinnacle, and Wolfgang all should be suitable enough to remove overspray. It will probably take a little elbow grease though. Here is a link for a bunch of good clay:

Before you touch anything, see if you can get in touch with those "workers" ... see what kind of paint you have on your car. We have an assload of cars in our shop right now with polyeurethane enamel on them... or something to that effect. And there are other ones which some epoxy kind of paint on them... that stuff is crazy as well. To get these cars clean, honestly, the car gets cut with a very heavy compound... then like 4 hours is spent on bringing the shine back up, basically repairing what the heavy cut did to the paint. Usually ends up costing around a grand for all the work and materials that goes into the job.

I'd REALLY try and find out what your dealing with... and if possible, see if any other cars are affected, and go after the people doing the work. They should have been more careful when painting.

 

the only problem is my dad has no idea where it happened. One day we just noticed it. It looked liek dust at first and then we noticed we couldnt get it off.

 

If necessary, your comprehensive insurance coverage will pay for it.

 

i think the deductible is higher than it would be to fix (1,000) so we would just fix it any way. I think i will try to buff it first.
