My registration is about to expire on my Kansas plates, and now that I live in Texas, I have to get an inspection, including an emissions check. I believe my county only does the OBDII check. Since I have the anti-foulers on my TP and do not have a CEL, I should be in the clear, right? I think they also do a visual check to ensure the exhaust hasn't been "tampered" with. I'm hoping to get lucky on that one... I think I just need to find a hole in the wall shop to help with that.

This should be an exciting time to see what else may be wrong with the car...

Got the wife's car's oil changed this morning (I was feeling very lazy, it was a bit over due, and she needs to drive to Dallas tomorrow) so while I was there I asked the guy for an inspection on her car. It took him all of 5 minutes (most of it was filling out the paperwork). I think I'll take my car down there too

After I get my headlight and license plate light fixed, of course.

 

where in texas are you? I was in Killeen and they will pass you for $50 bucks no questions lol. It took like 5 minutes, seriously.
