Flat tire -- Help!!
I have a "used" RS4, with no owner's manual yet. On my way home today, the flat tire light came on -- was close to home, so nursed it into my garage. Left rear is flat! Since I have no owner's manual, could someone please advise me on what to do next? Also, I don't have any of the original documentation (such as tire warranty...). Thanks!!
The next thing you should do is get it fixed...

The RS4 comes with a "Tire Mobility System" (can of sealant, instructions, and a compressor) located under the floor in the trunk.
In the owner's manual:
it's good for foreign objects up to .16"(4mm) and the object can stay in the tire.
do not use kit if there is any damage to sidewall from driving without air.
it's only a temporary fix and to replace the tire ASAP
avoid speeds over 50mph, heavy breaking, full throttle acceleration, fast cornering, and foreign objects that may damage other tires.
I'd suggest just calling 'free' Audi 24hr Roadside Assistance 800-411-9988 and having them tow it to a dealer. Pretty sure all they need is the VIN from the car.
which tire did you get from the factory? the red or the white sauce?
OEMs on US RS4's were pirelli (red sauce) or michelin (white sauce).
be very careful when buying a replacement michelin pilot PS2. there is a specific model number that is made specially for the RS4. i had to replace a michelin and the tire store put on the right model, right size but the sidewall, if you stare at it long enough, was different. honest mistake and they had to call michelin for clarification and have the correct tire sent. michelin required the tire store to give them the VIN number off my car and only then would they release the tire, as they said the tires were available for "emergency release" only.
it took a week for them to send it, and the tire store was nice enough to let me ride on the incorrect tire during that time. if you need it, i can probably dig up the michelin tire model number for you.

if the tyre is damaged beyond repair then replace it ( what book do you need for that?? ) surly you know how to change a wheel? then take it in and get it fixed ( the pressure sensor is stuck to the inside of the tyre onto the wheel inner ) so when its fixed it will be reset
