Default Let me rephrase my question!!

I have been to several dealers and they all say they cannot budge on the $66,000 price tag...There is only one option (Premium package) which is a must when you're dropping $66,000...making the total $72 and change...

My question was...is it reasonable to get that base price down a couple of thousand or are they still that hot that they can sell it to anyone anytime for anything?

I was hoping to get some responses from anyone who has recently entertained a dealer with this notion or anyone who has the current RS4...Thanks...

Offer $64,000 and stick to it. Less if you can. Maybe $60,000, see how much lower they go, split the difference. If need be, look other places.

If they say they won't budge on $66k then I doubt you can get 6k off, that much with any car is pushing it. It might be smart to check out Consumer Reports New Car Price Report ($14) where they will list the wholesale and dealer askings on any car and a price you can generally talk the salesman into.

The dealership gets 7%, the salesman gets 7% and the dealership get a 7% kick back at the end of the quarter for selling an Audi, they can come down but won't because they know they can sell it at their price. That came from an Audi salesman I am friends with. I work at toyota and bought a $26,000 camary for $19,000 which is invoice price.

also depends on where you live. your area might only have one or two in the whole region, or there might be a huge surplus like here in southern california, where 'them dealers are wheelin' and dealin'. every RS4 must go. no reasonable offer refused. first time RS4 buyers! your job is your credit!bankruptcy?Your old RS6 repossesed? No Problem!!
