Default DRC-upgrade

I was just told by my dealer that it's unlikely at this time that the RS4 will fall under the same upgrade as the RS6 in Canada. Hopefully you're right and they're wrong as I don't want to get into the multiple changing of suspension parts one at a time.

DRC sucks. Notorious problem in the RS4 & RS6, only real solution is aftermarket coilovers. If audi is paying the tab to replace OEM with OEM then cool, but i would never spend my own money on OEM parts that are gonna break again. Hope its all warenteed for you guys! otherwise....

Hmmm... due to the economic downturn, looks like RS4's can be had for low $40s for 2007 and 2008 models with relatively low mileages. This thread is certainly making me reconsider. I was initially shopping for a BMW 135i, but I think it's way overpriced for what it is. 2003 911 Turbos with low miles are also selling for high $40's and low $50's...

Can someone confirm if these DRC shocks issues are finally "fixed"?

Default DRC upgrade

I've heard the BMW 135i goes like crazy. They look a bit like a pregnant roller skate though. Wife's got an M roadster. Worst 1st to 2nd shift I've seen in a long time. Unless you pause slightly between shifts, it grinds. Check that on the 135 before you buy.

Your wife's 1 to 2 shift is bad since she toasted the syncros. All other BMW's I've had shifted real well in all gears...

I totally disagree in that the 135 looks like a pregnant roller skate... I think it looks like a Chevy Aveo!!!

hey guys, I'm new to this forum and I'm currently considering buying a used 2007 RS4 that has a strut problem that has a clunking noise. Anybody know if audi fixed this problem? I read on some sites that Audi came out with a fix for all RS4 and RS6 last august (2009) but not confirmed by all members. Any tips and info would be greatly appreciated!!

Default RS4 Suspension

I had a similar problem with my car, where the coils were leaking. Audi replaced the suspension and from what the tech told me it is the DRC3 from the new RS6. The suspension feels amazing and it is firmer than before and now there is almost no body roll. I love it and deffinetly no need to replace upgrade the suspension now. Sorry to hear about your problems.

Default H&R Wheel Spacers RS4

Can anyone tell me what size wheel spacers they have used from H&R with part number for their RS4 with stock rims. Information would be greatly appreciated, pics etc, and also if you have found a place that sells them for a good price that is appreciated as well. Thanks.
