RS6 Turbo upgrade

RS6 Turbo upgrade
What are the stock turbos on the C5 RS6 (2003)?
Anything like the K04? (the 2.7T has K03 in stock form, so I assume at least K04 for the 50% larger displacement).
What boost is the stock BCY engine running. A lot of RS6 owners do a mild chip tune to around 520 HP (likely the usual slight boost increase). Any info what the increase is?
A substantial turbo upgrade will likely require larger intercoolers. Does anybody know (photos?) how to integrate them. FMIC (2?)?.
I am sure it has been done by various tuners (links?), if not here (considering the relatively small number of C5 RS6 in the US), then for sure by European tuners.

the RS6 turbos are still considered k04 turbos but with larger trim housings. The compressor isn't too much larger, but the turbo has about twice the size on the hot side. The RS6 doesn't run much boost stock (like 6-8 psi) the boost increase is the reason for the added power.
Lots of companies make larger intercoolers, both front mount and side mount. What else do you want to know?

I think I recently read somewhere the RS6 turbos are K24. My turbo expert at Turboconcepts said those are very different than the K03, but VERY nice (durable, good construction/materials) turbos.
I need to find a power/torque/boost curve for the RS6 to see if those - like most Audi engines - are geared towards increased torque at lower RPM (seems that all Audi turbos for late 90's to early 00's reach max. torque at 1950 RPM), at the expense of 'running out of steam' at higher RPM (small compressor wheels = quick spool up and early boost, but limited CFM/boost at high RPM).
This will determine what upgrade turbo (nothing crazy like the 1.8T kids do (500 awhp!!!) is most suitable.
If anybody stumbles across those charts, post them!
And can someone confirm the turbo model and factory boost of the RS6?
