Default 01 / S8 Will not start

Just purchased a used S8 with 40,000 miles, drove it home, and parked it my garage. 2 days later tried to start it.... runs for 2 seconds and then shuts down.
Ended up hauling the car to a dealer on a flat bed truck.
While unloading I attempted to start and it fired up no problems. Parked vehicle in service lot, vehicle later started and driven into shop (only service code indicated possible low battery), vehicle started in shop and driven home 150 km. (ran perfect) after one stop and parked in garage. 1 day later tried to start...same problem vehicle runs for 2 seconds and shuts down. Seems to be fuel starvation..if this sounds like a filter replacement problem..where is it located? Not to keen on hauling car back to dealer on flat deck.
Thanks for any replies...

Avant, thanks for the check sheet....

The battery is definitely not the problem. Tried a second battery with booster cables to be sure. The tech at the Audi dealer also assured me that the immobilizer was functioning properly....as I mentioned in the previous post, starts, runs for 2 seconds and shuts down. There was absolutely no stumbling when it did run. I will check the other components on the list.
