1500 bucks for a clutch replacement???

Default 1500 bucks for a clutch replacement???

The tranny shop just called me and told me it was gonna cost 1500 bucks just to replace the damn clutch...does this sound right?

If that includes labor costs and the clutch kit, then yeah I'd say so. Isn't insuance helping you out?

Isurance isnt doing anything....my warranty isnt covering it bc its wear and tear...why would insurance cover it?

my apollos insurance = guarantee in the UK against the dealer/seller so if you had just bought the car here in the UK your covered for 28 days by law

If it was an oil leak then it was the reliability of the product that influenced or caused the problem. Wasn't it a turbo that was leaking, I can't remember? But I mean that is an unnormal circumsance, not a common reliability issue with the S4 either. I would clarify that the insurance company knows this is not a normal wear and tear deal.
