2000 AUDI S4 ROAD NOISE HELP!!!
Hi,
I recently bought a 2000 audi s4 about a week ago. I had then do an overall check on the car only to see that the tie rods were cracked and all 4 of my rotors were warped. I just payed a 1000 dollars and got it all fixed. I asked them to check the road noise in the car and they said it was fine. When i was driving it out of the shop i noticed that the noise was still there. Its not the bearings as i had those checked. It gets faster as i increase speed and when i slow down it gets slower and louder. I cant describe the noise really other than sounds like marbles. I know that the car is supposed to be relatively quit quiet as before this car i had a 2.8 a4 which was quiet as a mouse.
Any suggestions as what it could be??
Ps. i pinpointed the sound, it seems to be coming from the front right area.

i can start noticing it around 40mph it starts going whirl...whirl... then as i increase speed it goes fast and when i hit about 60-70 its a straight whirl... and its really annoying when driving.
I brought the car to midas and they said that my wheel bearings were good. The car only has 71k miles and i dont know what this noise could be. My tires are good as i checked them today.
yeah you did overpay bigtime because on my a4 i used to have, the two rear bearings were replaced and it coested $800.
Any other suggestions???
