I would appreciate if anybody could help me, but I just bought a 2001.5 s4 yesterday and for some reason the stereo will not even power on and the display won't work....

Also... I noticed that I have the controls for the navigation system on the center console, but it will not power on either or respond to any of the nav buttons. I think that maybe these systems are not hooked up to the battery or something, but I checked around the battery and I didn't notice any missing wires or clamps. I also checked the fusebox, but everything checks out. Thanks ahead of time for helpin an audi noob.

 

Yeah, the radio problem is fuse in the back of the radio that you need special keys to get to from the dealer. The navi prob could be a fuse too.

Yeah, it only takes a sec, there ussauly come right out and do it.

 

sweet, got my car back. I had some problem with the ABS and brake warning lights on, but the certified preowned warranty covered all that with a $50 deductable. Stereo works well, the guy said it was in safe mode. What I don't understand is that I have the buttons and controls for the navigation as well as three manuals for it , but I don't think I have the thing in the trunk to insert the navigation disc. Does anybody know how I could get one, and how much it would cost?
