Default 2001 S4 engine problem

i have 2001 S4 with 20K milles on it. have two weeks left before my waranty expires. so i brought a car for 4 years/40K service. after that my car started doing some wierd stuff. in 4th and 5th gear, when accelerating strongly through 3,800-3,900 rpm engine for some reason chockes for a spil second. u can even see by RPM gauge. it stops for a split second and then car picks up even stronger. it feels just like when u hit gas on an automatic car, and it pauses for a split second as its downshifts... and then u get a liftoff... but my car is 6 speed manual... dealer checked VAG codes, no errors. i am bringing it back to them thursday. it has to be fixed while it still under waranty. i have no engine mods on my car whatsoever. anyone had something like this? please let me know.
