Hi all,

My 2001 S4 isn't blowing out any heat when I have it set on HI. It only blows out cold air...I have only gotten it warm once with recirculate on and Econ, but then it was only warm for a little bit before it got cold again. Also, when I set it on Auto and 84 degrees, there is no air coming from the upper, middle, or lower vents. Is this the way it's supposed to be? I just bought this car so I'm still getting the hang of it. Any help is greatly appreciated as I live in Colorado and it's blowing snow right now. Thanks!

 

ant thougts by going back to the dealer or were you did buy your car?

 

I bought this car from a private party, so that's not possible. Any help would be great on explaining how the climate control works so I can try to figure this out. Thanks-
