i have a 2002 s4 and i started it today and it started fine , was idling normal, then randomly almost died due to sputtering?? it was very hot, almost 100 degrees and had been sitting in sun all day. i had the air on full blast and it just started sputtering and almost dieing. then i drove it home and it was missing very bad and died at redlight. then it started driving better the rest of the way, but would randomly sputter very hard every 5 minutes or so??? no check engine on or flashing so im lost on what to do?? thanks for any help in advance guys!!

 

well thats just poopy... I cant belive it died without throwing a CEL! Sometimes when its really hot out o2 sensors can get fussy. Are they due for a change?

 

Try unplugging the MAF. If that makes it run than you have a boost leak
