Audi Hoffman in CT has a brand new, never driven convertible s4 04 that I know you can get for 44k. The car is 2 years old, though it is brand new. I would not pay more than 42 for that car. I bought a brand new 05.5 s4 black/black with 63 miles on it for 45.

If you can get a 04 S4 Conv w/only 63 miles for $44K, then I have an "Ocean Front" property in Arizona for you to buy as well!

Can I ask how much you want for the Ocean Front Property? If I were to buy the property, would you throw in the S4?

The 2004 is now a 2 year old car, even if it is new on the lot. Hoffman Audi in New London CT has this car. They are asking 45,000 for it, but I know one of the slaesman there and they can take as low as 42k for it, let alone 44. The dealer invoice for this car in 2004 was 46500. So, I do live on the ocean in Stonington Borough, CT. No you can not buy my property. I did recently buy a 05.5 black S4 from Inskip Audi in RI with less than 50 miles on it for just over 45. Even if you get them to go under invoice, they can make up on extras. 49,500 for a used two year old convertible S4 is moronic. Place a call to the Audi dealership I mentioned. They also have at least 4 new 2004 S4 including a black, dolphin grey, red, and blue. They have a 05.5 S4 dolphin grey which is what I wanted, but they would not go below 50 on it(loaded). I got my car from a high volume dealer that deals from Porsche to Maserati and pushes volume. I went at the end of the month with a wad of cash and wlaked out with a car that I got for less than I would have paid. You just got to be willing to set a price, and walk away from them. If they know you have the cash, they will come after you. Hoffman in New London really needs to get rid of these 04 S4's. Now the car is only worth what one is willing to pay for it, regardless of the bluebook.

OOps,
I gave the sedan invoice I got for the 04 convertible was 48,500 without nav. Like I said, If you are a smart shopper, you pay at or below invoice. If it is the end of the year and the new model is out..you definitely pay below invoice, a high volume dealer needs to move the cars, or they bite it like the boys in New London are doing. If the car does not sell, then often, the dealer will get some very strong incentives from audi, and can go lower. remember, it really is not the dealer that owns the car. in reality that is. So often, the dealer can go below invoice on last year models. If you know someone on the in, talk to them off the book. Once the 06 convertibles come out and are on the lot, I think you could get the 05.5 convert for 51k with less than 100 miles, let alone 14k...

what did you pay new for the car??
