2005 S4 A/C Compressor Swap
Having A/C issues....Pressure is good, fuses are good all seems fine but no cold air and no sign compressor is running when it should. This HAS happened before but seemed to fix its self.
My local A/C guy yesterday did not have time to take out the headlights to check some switch but did have the belly guard off underneath to try and get to the compressor. He mentioned a "Foreign" looking substance coming from the shaft area that drives the compressor.
So if the switch does not turn out to be the problem.....Is it a huge job to get the old compressor out and a new one in? How many hours?
Hope it's just the Hi/Lo pressure switch.
Thanks in advance.
