I'm in the market for a B7 S4 -- specifically a 2005.5. Is there anything I should be on the lookout for mechanically or otherwise? Is there anything that is prone to failure?

The B7's are very solid. Check for codes but most B7's have updated all the little thing that were an issue with the B6.

You will love the B7. Great car little down on power but thats nothing a few JHM parts down cure.
