For those who have the Alcantara Suede seats, what do you guys use to condition and clean the seats with. I've researched a few options but I was just wondering what you guys thought was best and what worked best. Thanks

 

The previous owner of my car said soap and water. I havent had to do it yet though. im just glad I got the blue and not the white suade. thatwould be a nightmare.

 

soap and water is the best thing to clean it.
for deeper cleaning and 'fuzz' control,use the magic erasers and sweater 'defuzzers'. works like a charm.

alcantara is actually amazingly easy to keep clean.

 

Alright thanks guys. Have any of you guys conditioned it to help prevent from any stains? I'm just trying to figure out if there is anything out there that will help keep the suede from balling up.

 

have not. over time, it will ball up but that's what the defuzzer is for. beyond that, i do think it will eventually wear out. also - it all depends on how you sit in it and how much you slide to make it ball up :-)

i'm the original owner of mine with the silver /white alcantara. it's a 2002, clean as can be, but balling up a bit.

 

Use interior cleaner, or a carpet shampooer. The stuff is basically made from plastic soda bottles.
