We designed and built a CAI with shielded box.
Do you guys know of anyonewho has installedcone filter on K04 kit.
The question is will it lean out with the extra air flow? As the chip it tuned to the RS4 airbox.
We have used it already with no CEL but I am still a little concerned to know if anyone has seen lean fuel air ratios.

 

im no pro but since theres no diff between stock airbox hp and aftermarket...id say no and the only thing itll do is make more sound but thats just my .02c anyone wana back me up or correct me?

 

There is a bit more airflow with the open element over the RS4 box on stage 3 cars, however the difference isn't enought that the factory fuel injection can't make up for it. The only time to worry about it is if the injectors are already close to maxed out.

I am fairly sure it has the RS4 injectors, as far as I know the only thing it doesn't have is the RS4 fuel pump. By the way anyone know where to get one cheap.
