Default anyone ever damage an intake valve on a b5 S4.... fawk

anyone ever damage an intake valve? dont know how i did it, i ran a comp test and got 50psi in the left front cylinder "the only one misfire'n"

did a leak down and its leaking through the intake, so i am guess'n maybe i over rev'd and nicked / damaged a valve? burnt maybe? broken spring?

anyways, it smokes sometimes out the exhaust pretty heavy, usualy after i boost it good or drive for awhile then come to a stop, i thought i had blown a turbo but i guess not,

anyways if you guys have any ideas or advice that would be great, the motor idlles quiet like it should, no ticking or anything,

i am about to go stage 3 and yank the motor.... just wondered if this was common, i cant find any similar posts on audiworld..

I have a set of 2.7 heads for sale if you need them. But my guess is, you have just a bad headgasket.

Typically it's the exhaust valves that get burnt, about the only thing that can damage an intake valve is when a piston hits it due to overspeed or timming belt problem.

Or if something, like a nozzle from a W/M kit gets sucked through the engine:

It's the one in the middle on the right. And it doesn't look really bad but it was actually causing a 0 PSI compression problem. Not a fun deal.
