What year S4 do you have? I have the B5, and I haven't pulled the engine yet, but from what i've heard, you have to drop it out of the bottome, which my local shop said would take 15-20 hrs. I had a feeling they were full of it, but had no way to tell.

Definately did not have to pull out the bottom, once the front bumper, intercoolers, fan, radiator, ect are all out of the way, its not too bad. Just be very cautious and gentle as the space is very limited. Take notes, on the order you have to unbolt things, and just make sure you mark everything you removed/disconnected so nothing is missed going back in. Oh yea, and its a 2000, my advice, dont have a stealership do it for you, take it to a tuner/european car shop if you dont want to, but dont be afraid of it.

Hey Blue_S4 I am just wondering a few thigns about the pull. I have for a little while now wanted to do a pull on my a6 2.7t, but am a little scared. I have all the tools well atleast I think i do. I just need to know where you found a guide or if you used one that would be great to know. I would rather put k04's in myself than pay for someone to put in k03's that is the main reason for me doing this. Thanks

definately do it yourself if you have the know how and patience. i basically followed this DIY, may be different for your A6, but im sure its pretty darn close. its a good reference at least, once in there, you will be able to guess the next step. http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng98.shtml its very detailed IMO.

Now you just need all the supporting things, like IC's, & fueling.
What exactly do i need to do for fueling, i know injectors, Fuel pump, pressure regulator...what else will i need?

Just one of the "kits" they will come with all the parts, there usually around $2000, & come with injectors, MAF, & ECU.
