Hello all,

I have just purchased a B5 S4 and I am paranoid already. I read on some forums that you hear a whooshing noise and small bit of turbo, I watch some videos and alot of S4's sound different. I keep thinking in my head that my turbo is way to loud and is dying. I have recorded a small 5 minute sound bit of it on hard acceleration, your input is much appreciated.

First run is Windows up second is windows down, my question is does it sound healthy/normal.

i dont hear anything unusual. remove your belly pan and see if there is any excess oil on it. could be a sign your turbos are going.

Thanks for quick reply Fonzo. I'll check the belly pan, like I said, I think it's all in my head.

get a turbo timer or a lower temp switch to help get over your turbo paranoia. they helped me. i run both.

Yours sounds pretty fine to me. If you wanna hear what a blown / soon to be blown turbo sounds like just listen to mine
