My 2005 S4 has some sorta weird electrical thing going on with the "Coming Home Feature". When I lock the car at night the front fogs come on, as they are supposed to and go off after a few minutes. But sometimes they come back on after like 5 seconds. That's not right!

My guess is there may be a faulty door open sensor or a fault in a light sensor somewhere. Anyone got any ideas?

NOw that I read this, it made me think that once in a while, I get a warning on the dash that looks like a fuel-door alarm, in case the gas cap is missing? I haven't bothered to look up what exactly it is, but it will beep for 5 seconds, then go away. Perhaps MY fog and tail lights are coming on for 5 seconds if this were happening throughout the day.
