Unhappy Bad Tranny Value

Ok so I had my 2000 s4 tiptronic tranny pulled and opened up. The thing is shot.. planetary gears all ate up and metal chips overflowing.

The guy is getting an estimate on parts I will hear tommorow.

I am thinking of doing the stasis rebuild. here is the question. Is this old tranny worth sending in as a core?

If i get the stasis with the core charge. Just wondering if it is even worth sending in cause it is far past normal wear.

Did you contact Stasis? I'd say it's prolly still worth sending in as a core, they pretty much gut them when doing a rebuild

I talked to stasis and they only do the manual rebuilds.

I am looking at Level 10 rebuild and he wants the money up front.
I don't want to get burned.

Has anyone had any level ten trans work done?

Who is the main person you spoke with?
