i dont exactly know what happened, but im cruzin to 7/11 to grab some late nite beer(only place open @1amish) and i come up on a jetta at the lite, i noticed he was listening to evanesce at the light, very loud actually, i thought i can take him(i just out my tbb on and everything) and we take off, he pulls on me all the way up to 100, do yall think it was because of the four people in my car? or maybe he had turbo upgrade?

 

No, a jetta should never beat an S4 even with people in the car, unless your friends are extreemly over weight, ha! JK, no the Jetta probably had MODS, dont feel bad.

is your S4 stock ? if it is I don't think it would really take that much since they are FWD cars and they put more down no big drivetrain loss less weight not including all the people in your car did you get to see which engine was in it ?

this is making me very sad :-(, just replaced tbb the other day, went to lacr today and ran a 17.5 1/4mi, i cant wait until monday so i can have it checked out, now that i think of it i dont think he was modded at all, i think i am leaking boost or maybe not boosting at all. looks like a boost gauge is on the list next....

Yeah, not uncommon. I just graduated to the S4 line coming from a Jetta. Granted the list of mods to top out as S4 would need to be fairly pricey and properly tuned. Not uncommon for a VR6, supercharged, cams, chip and exhaust to peak over 300hp.

 

yeah just doesn't add up, i've been thinking about it all day, but on monday ill find the prob and get it fixed.
