Forgot to include some more driving impressions.

1. Serious backfire "pop" now noticed.
2. Engine pulls noticeably hard in three progressive places within the powerband; each time getting stronger.
3. Occasionally hear a rash of air on low throttle in low gear; not sure whether it's a good, bad or irrelevant sign.
4. Definitely feel engine vibration through clutch when engaged. Lightweight flywheel reduced the dampening effect.
5. Much raspier throaty sound coming from exhaust.
6. Very smooth power band and acceleration, but definitely twitch/peaky at top end.
7. Intake sound more pronounced.
8. Car definitely wants to get up and go!
9. Need stronger brakes than the upgraded custom rotors I installed last summer.
10. Need to stay away from cops.

If it can be done to the engine (from intake through fuel management to exhaust), and to brakes, suspension, and transmission, then I had it done. And then some more!

I'd have to guess the total investment without digging out all my receipts.

At least 20K.

OUCH!

And that doesn't include cosmetic changes and other accessories.
Yikes.
Stop making me review this in my head!!

No. Just an analogy.

I still went ahead and bought another car, too.

Mid life crisis? I wish you lived near-by so I could get a ride in your car!

Well, if you were involved with the BAG last year, you would have seen it. I spent a lot of time last summer with the group up in your neck of the woods.
