Are you talking about the Lotus on the Toyota JDM platform?

If so, I saw one at the Vinoy last November. It's very small and exotic looking, but it still looks like a Jap exotic. I wasn't really impressed. The speed factor doesn't hold up to my S4 and there's no way that thing is as comfortable as my S4

 

yea, it's got a toyota four-cylinder, but it rips around twisty roads better than almost any major production car...it's got a 40/60 F/R weight distribution, mid engine, 0-60 in under 5 seconds. but yea, twisty roads is about all they're good for...not much torque, not luxurious at all really...

 

Imola what are ur times for ur car since u have gotten it back? 0-60, 1/8, 1/4, skidpad? Also have u done any suspension mods?

 

Haha, apg, those are so hard to tell without a gtech. I would bet he is around 4 flat to 60 and high 11s, low 12s in teh 1/4. Sound about right imola?

 

under 5 its got torque for its weight. basically my driving style is twisty roads, going fast on a straight is only fun for so long (like when u come to a turn), seeing how fast you can go through a turn is what its about for me. for 45g's cant get much more preformance than that.

 

i thought he might have gotten some track times. or mb had a gtech.

No times yet except for an unofficial clocking of 0-60 with a stopwatch. It seems to be around 4 seconds. I don't claim to have any great skill at dropping the clutch and rowing either, so who knows what the true performance can be.

 

supercharged elise. total cost 50K for a high 10 second car
