Hey,
How do you diagnose an intermitant burning oil smell inside on a 2001 S4?

I can't see any oil leaking, doesn't use any oil, and it's very random and sporadic.
Once in a while, I get a hint of a burning oil smell in the car while driving.

I just had the oil changed too.
I remember reading somewhere that if an innerCV boot is torn it can sling grease up on the DPs and thus burning it.

My car has the same intermittent problem. But I opened up the hood one morning and found the smell coming from the power steering reservoir area. Not sure if it CV boot or what, but I dont have any unusual noises. I plan on checking this out this weekend, so if I find anything out I'll let you guys know.
