that popping sound could be a cv joint. common symptoms are popping, crackling, rattling sounds. check to see if the boot is torn. if it is my money is there. if not then its probably somethin else like a control arm or somethin

 

Yeah I am a little worried on how much is might cost. Any ideas? Maybe not until I get it checked out.

My car has no Warranty at all, which is kind of shitty. Any ideas on that problem!?

 

cv joints are maybe 100 dollars or so and depending on your comfortability you can do it yourself in your driveway. its not entirely hard but id give it a 6 out of 10 on a difficult scale if its your first time. check out the diy forums, they might have a write up. i know they do for the B5 so you can at least look at that to get an idea
