I need to remove the cam gears on my B5 S4 and am completely stumped as to how to remove them. They won't budge. If you haven't guessed i bought the ecs ultimate, insano, crazy, timing belt kit and the cam and crank seals are amongst the parts that should be changed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need a cam tool to hold them in place. part number 3391... you also get a crankshaft holder with the kit... you buy them on ebay...

Aren't those tools included in the ECS Tuning Ultimate Plus Timing Belt Kit With ECS Cam Locking Tool?

http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...ategory=Timing

I purchased the most expensive one ($487.05) because i thought it would include all the major tools and parts for the job. Is the ECS cam locking tool the same as the one on ebay?

got the puller. worked perfectly to get the cam gears off!! the cam seals on the other hand were a pain in the *** to get out. Took like three hours of prying and wedging. Thanks for the help though. Tomorrow i'm doing the crank seal. Any help on that would be appreciated.
