Can a s4 be raised?

Can a s4 be raised?
Thinking of moving on top of a mountain in Big Sur, CA for a year or so to get away from it all, and it gets hairy up there.
Is there a way to get a 1.5-2.0" lift?
`Thank you.

I think you may be able to do it with a Coil-over kit. I know that they are adjustable I just don't know if you can go higher then stock. There must be someone in this forum who has them and knows.

Yes, this is what I was thinking too.
I was also thinking if the Audi all-road is higher, maybe I can use something off that?
(Nice picture of your car. I'm from NH, and miss it since the day I moved 5 years ago. I don't cherish New England until I come back for Christmas or start thinking about it, or, look outside my window at this busy intersection with angry horns honking and everyone flooring the gas and loading on their loud exhausts. It's just not my thing anymore. But, that's besides the point.)

The all-road is a lot higher, but is a totally different system then what we have. they are airbags. I would be intrested to find out though.
-I'm in Sugarbush Valley, VT (Warren, Waitsfield, Fayston, Moretown.) I was just down in Wilmington, NC and Love it there its a perfect inbetween of City and country. Vermont and New England in General gets to me sometimes with the horrible weather.

That's what everyone back there is saying. Every other day I look at the radar map and there's what it seems, a constant band of precipitation headed your way.
Airbags huh? Interesting. Must be self-leveling. Very nice.

An All-Road is one of the 50 or so cars my brother has owned. They chew up tires. There is no camber compensation. This system is very dangerous if you are all the way up travelling at high speeds, as one can imagine. I suppose there is a way to do that, compensate for camber changes due to ride height adjustments, but you are talking about more moving parts to break, more complexity, and a great deal more research. Didn't they discontinue that suspension?

ECS Tuning has a coil over kit they say can be used to raise an S4. I don't remember how much positively but, I think nearly 2". Id say raising a car this way would compress the springs enough to make the ride pretty harsh. You may want to try a longer spring with a similar load rate to help the ride.

I lowered my S4...can't remember the exact measurement anymore but it's pretty damn low!
I live in Canada...and I don't know if where you're going gets any worse than the snow we get here in the winter, but I mean we can get up to 40 - 50 cm in like one morning! The moral of the story is that I still drove it and it had tons of fun! Just made sure I had good winter tires and watch your cars' belly pan! You break that and you might break your oil pan.
I got a big hole in my car's belly, but it sure as hell didn't stop us this winter! lol
