took my car in for a bunch of different problems and find out i need to replace the cat converter. would it be more cost effective for to go ahead and get a full exhaust system for roughly the same price as a single cat converter? i have a b5 s4, i was interested in the ss autochrome turboback setup soley because of the great price. does this system include cats? if not what systems do, if any? thanks a lot for any help! i'm not to knowledgeable about the whole exhaust/cat setup of cars. thanks!

 

just cut your cats out and weld in some straight pipes.

The cats are part of the DP's, there are 4 of them, so you will need to know what cat failed.

Your best bet is purchase aftermarket Dp's with new HFC's in them. This way you will not throw a CEL.

 

I thought you could relocate the o2 bungs so that will not through a code.
