chip security
Most chips arent seen by the vag scan tools. Its pretty obvious when you drive the vehicle thou. Just think about this. You drive 250 hp s4's all day and then you get one thats alot faster than it should be. You cant hide performance.
i think differently, alot of chips are recognizable by vag, but if you do have security, and you are in stock mode then hiding your performance is definetly achievable, for instance... my chip(APR) has 4 programs 1st being stock, second being chipped 91, 3rd 100 octance and 4th Security. Now if the dealer decides to pop open your ecu and you have a soldered chip staring them in the face they are going to know. i could have went with GIAC, which is just software, but i liked apr better.
