I'm planning on an MTM chip for my 2002 S4 (60K). From reading the posts it seems highly recommended to replace the diverter valves at the same time. What I'm not sure of is how critical it is to replace the throttle body boot and f-hose?? I want to do whatever I can to reduce the wear on the turbos from only doing the chip. Thanks.....

 

its not a necessity, but your stock one will rip pretty soon after chipping. For 75 bucks or so theres no point not doign it

 

How about the samco hoses kit that AWE offers. Are they nessessary as well?
