I have a B5 S4 tiptronic and when I put it into drive or park it makes a clunking sort of noise and you can feel a slight thud. The transmission shifts just fine and it seems to be flawless so I'm hoping it's the diff mount making the sound. Is that right?

welcome to the tiptronic club! i had the same problem. i got the stern power ring and diff bushings, which cured most of the clunk.

there still is some clunk so i have now bought the apikol rear diff mount, 034 diff bushings(track) and 034 rear diff carrier. havent installed them yet but i am hoping this will cure the clunk for good.
