Default Clunking in the front end.

Alright this has been goin on for awhile but It has gotten to a point to where its embarrassing to me. Its nothing with the shocks bc i can go over speed bumps and hear nothing. But when im going from a stop then i hear a clunk/cracking noise and sometimes i can feel a pop in the floor board where you rest your foot from the clutch. I have sprayed all my rubber bushings with WD40 and it didnt stop a thing. Anyone got any ideas?

It is like at least a 98% chance its your control arms. As far as what to look at, slight weathering, but they are really hard rubber so just assume that with your symptoms its them. I would start with the huge ones on the bottom aka lower ca's and go up but then I like to say i'm right always so...

Also how many miles you have on her, cause like myself you have a 2000 so it may be time to spend at least a grand and change all the fronts. Sorry.

Control arms, Tie rod ends is the most common.

My clonking noise cas from a sway bar bolt that had unscrewed alittle, tightened it and now it is silent.
